Fleur de Pedesclaux Pauillac 2015

Pedesclaux was created by its namesake, Pierre Urbain Pedesclaux in 1810 when he purchased vineyard land from another Pauillac estate, Grand Puy.

Expertly crafted, this red Bordeaux offers a rich bouquet of ripe plum, dried herbs, and spices. On the palate, experience soft, approachable flavors of concentrated red and black fruit, silky tannins, and an intense finish. Ideal for pairing with steak, duck, risotto, and mature cheeses. 74% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc

Critical Acclaim

94 James Suckling

Currants and blueberries with hints of flowers and perfume. Stones, too. Full body, a dense center palate, layers of ripe tannins and citrus rind. Layered and structured. Plush. A very serious wine from this estate.
